Who am I?
I am an indie author and artist. I paint in watercolor and oils. I began my writing career in earnest in 2010 after being requested to write a story for a friend of mine. He wanted non-fiction, I said not a chance as it was too controversial in his city, so I wrote it as a fiction: Abused Trust. My first effort led to trying to write a sequel: The Painting, based on no specific facts, but decided to create a series and selected one of the characters in first book. Had fun, wrote 3rd: The Myth of Kukulkan, a Mayan 2012 story. I wrote it because I lived in Mexico City as a teen and was caught up in the rich history. Book 4: Eye for an Eye is just a novel to close loose ends in the first 3 books of the Detective Kelly O’Brian series.I have written a new novel: The Sliammon Escudo, now in edit. It is intended to be my signature book, as it begins a new series and hopefully shows an improvement in writing and story telling. Two more murder mystery novels–my best yet–are now available on Amazon: The Gamble and Covert Acts.
Share Something: I speak Spanish and besides living in Mexico for 4 years, I also consulted in Colombia, South America twice- a few stories there, I’d say.

Invitation: I look forward to any reader reviews, questions or suggestions. I would also be prepared to share any experience that I have gained over the past 4 years in the development of plots and story lines. I am a technical writer- by that I mean that I develop the entire plot, character bios and story line detail before any word is written. I had developed a specific methodology that helps my stories stay consistent, integrated and maintain continuity.
Bio: Life often comes around in full circle and Geoff Tigg’s life is a testament to that notion. Born in Windsor Ontario he became interested in film, art and writing in his early teens. He graduated in Process Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo (1975) and became a registered Professional Engineer, received his certification in accounting and process logistics by the time that he had turned forty and had graduated from a consultancy business school in New York by the time that he had retired for the first time.
Geoff has been fortunate to have been able to provide business and process consulting in Canada, the United States and South America and has been CFO and CEO of numerous corporations in British Columbia. He has volunteered in his community, mentored others and has frequently reinvented himself to meet changing times.
He loves telling stories as his father had, and the creative seed that had been sown in his teenage years has been rejuvenated through his passionate emotional works on film, canvas and on paper. His stories have been inspired by characters, events and places that have touched his life in some impressionable way.
